Before you begin
How Aumos runs, what it can reach, and what it will never do on its own.
Does Aumos invest on its own?
No. A manager builds a proposal but has no permission to place an order. A real order is sent only after you have read it and approved it.
How is this different from a robo-advisor or a trading bot?
A robo-advisor decides for you and a bot trades for you. Aumos does neither. It brings you a proposal with the reasoning and the sources behind it, and stops there.
Where does the AI run?
On your own computer, through Claude Code or Codex. Aumos stores no model API key and calls no model API itself.
Can I switch to a different manager later?
Yes. Your portfolio, your rules and every past judgement belong to Aumos rather than to one manager, so changing the manager keeps the context you have built.
How far can I trust an analysis of the past?
Every data request is recorded with the point in time it asked about, so what was asked, and about when, can be checked afterwards. What Aumos does not guarantee is that the data provider answered honestly for that instant — it relays the response rather than rewriting it.
Which brokers and data sources are supported?
Alpaca and 토스증권 for accounts and orders. SEC EDGAR and OpenBB, among others, for data.
Can I write my own manager?
Yes. A manager is a manifest, a prompt and documentation rather than executable code. Aumos creates the structure; you edit it in whatever tool you like.
What does it cost?
The free plan is a complete paper-trading product and stays free. Pro is $39 a month and opens a live brokerage account and unattended runs. Aumos never charges for inference — it uses the Claude Code or Codex subscription you already have.
